Thank you to those of you who have completed and returned the Parking Promise form. Car stickers have been given out, however, the printers sent some as a mirror image by mistake. If you need a replacement sticker, please see the School Receptionists.
Unfortunately, we need to remind you again to park legally and considerately around the school so that you don't block residents' driveways or park on the pavement. Please remember that we do receive the information about illegally parked cars and this is always passed on to the Police.
Medication in school
Please speak to the School Reception if your child needs to take medication in school. Medication must be prescribed by a doctor and needs to be in the original packaging with the Pharmacy label on.
News from ex-pupils of Uplands Manor
We have received a lovely card from some previous pupils at the school, which we wanted to share with you. It reads:
Today we take the opportunity to say a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every member of the UMPS staff who have contributed to our growth and learning.
We left the school nearly a decade ago and we stand as two university students training to be doctors and a lot of credit goes to our school.
Tyres, grassed area and play equipment
Please can we remind you that these areas are out of use and not be accessed by children or parents before or after school.
Rags to Riches clothing collection
Thank you very much for your donations. We raised £135. The next collection will be in March 2020.
PE kits
Please make sure that your child always has their PE kit in school so they are ready for lessons. The kit is a white t-shirt, black shorts and PE pumps or plain black trainers
McDonald's Happy Meal books
If you go to McDonald's and buy a Happy Meal, the current gifts are books. If you don't want them, we would be grateful to receive them in school.
Community Events
Please see the attached flyer about an event for an inclusive play day.
